Móyòsórè “Moyo” Martins moved his workspace into this 3,000-plus-square-foot studio in Mott Haven in December 2021. He’d been working from his Harlem apartment and using a bedroom as his studio. But things had become cramped. Then he found this space in a former furniture factory on the Listings Project. It took two months to clean out. One thing it also had — lots of natural light from the windows and the six skylights — would have seemed like a bonus. But Martins painted them black.

Long-Sharp Gallery announces the opening of New York-based, Nigerian artist, Móyòsóré Martins’ solo exhibition titled, Móyòsóré Martins: Seen, at Long-Sharp Gallery | Indianapolis (1 North Illinois Street, Suite A, Indianapolis IN 46204) and Long-Sharp Gallery | Virtual on 31 August 2022. The gallery also celebrates the official representation of Martins at Long-Sharp Gallery Indianapolis; one of Martins’ large-scale paintings, “Artist Block'', will simultaneously debut at BUTTER, an art fair dedicated to the exhibition of works by Black artists, opening for its second year over Labor Day weekend.

Perryn Ryan Ford is a contemporary figurative illustrator and painter whose works honor the beautiful landscape of the female form.

Celebrating the launch of Vogue Scandinavia and its journey with sustainability. Traffic illustrator, Charlotte Smith, interpreted the artwork of famed Swedish artist, Hilma af Klint. The animation project was a team effort with Peter Belsky interpreting Charlotte Smith’s illustration vision and composer, Jeremiah Bornfeld, bringing it to life with a unique guitar instrumental.
