Lucile Prache doesn't just illustrate food—she brings the foodie world to life.
From bustling Parisian markets and seasonal ingredients to cherished family recipes and beautifully set tables, her vibrant watercolor illustrations capture the joy, generosity, and artistry of food. Fresh, expressive, and unmistakably her own, Lucile's work has made her one of today's most sought-after illustrators for food, hospitality, travel, and lifestyle brands.
A graduate of the Penninghen School of Graphic Arts in Paris, Lucile co-founded the acclaimed Klaxon Graphic Art Studio before following her passion for illustration full-time. Her distinctive style quickly attracted an international clientele, leading to commissions for publications including Marie Claire, Biba, Avantages, MUZE, Phosphore, and many others.
Today, Lucile collaborates with publishers, restaurants, hotels, food brands, and lifestyle companies around the world, creating illustrations for cookbooks, editorial features, packaging, branding, licensing, textiles, and advertising campaigns. Whether she's painting a perfectly ripe peach, a bustling market, or an elegant dinner table, every illustration tells a story and invites you to pull up a chair.
Based in Paris, Lucile finds endless inspiration wandering neighborhood markets, discovering seasonal ingredients, and swapping recipes with family and friends. Those everyday rituals continue to inspire her beloved Lucile's Kitchen collection—a celebration of good food, good company, and the simple pleasures that make life delicious.
