Moyosore Martins is a New York-based Nigerian painter and renaissance artist who also dabbles in design, fashion, and music. For Moyo, creativity has few boundaries. His unique work reflects his narrative and vision of the world. Whether it’s a large-scale canvas, a digitally mastered work, or clothing embellished with his brush, his creative product embraces his traditional Afro-cultural, spiritual roots and fashion-forward sense of aesthetics.
Moyo created a series of custom-painted Nike Air Force 1 sneakers. Their design represents the artist in his workspace, celebrating his abstract grunge sensibility. His pallet includes glow-in-the-dark paint, which he often uses in his paintings, as well. He thinks art should be seen in the light and the dark.
