Known for his monumental canvases that merge his own personal mythology, philosophy, and social critique, Martins here presents a series of small-scale works—tablets, as he calls them—serving as studies, fragments, and blueprints for larger cosmic ideas. These “tablets” and “studies” function like pages from a visual scripture or frames in a comic book—each one a vignette in an unfolding in his own Afro-Futurist narrative. Together they tell stories of time, power, and transformation through Martins’ signature visual language: charged with vibrant colors, coded symbols, and recurring characters like “the Watchman”—his emblem of vigilance, vision, and spiritual duty—and “the Hungry Cat”, ever restless, a creature of survival, cunning, and desire.

Britt Boutros-Ghali: Nature Within

In Nature Within, Norwegian–Egyptian abstract artist Britt Boutros-Ghali, who is in her 88th year, explores the dialogue between nature, spirit, and emotion through the language of Abstract Expressionism. Known for her meditative process and richly layered compositions, Britt transforms pigment into pure energy—each gesture capturing the rhythm of the sea, the breath of wind, and the grounded strength of the earth.
