Zurich, Switzerland (January 27, 2026)— Pascal Robert Gallery is pleased to present Alchemy, Britt Boutros-Ghali’s first solo exhibition in Zurich. The exhibition unveils a new body of work shaped by transformation—where matter, memory, and emotion are transmuted through color and gesture. Rooted in abstraction and guided by intuition, Boutros-Ghali’s paintings operate as vessels of refinement, translating inner states into luminous visual form. The exhibition opening is on Friday, February 6, from 6-8pm, at Rämistrasse 5, in the heart of the Zürich.

Britt Boutros-Ghali is one of the most celebrated contemporary artists living in Egypt. Her work is collection across the globe.

Her practice is grounded in a sustained dialogue between intuition and discipline. Texture and color are layered and poured, building illuminating surfaces that feel both intentional and instinctive. Pigment pools, settles, and breathes across the canvas, creating compositions that hold light, movement, and the viewer’s attention in quiet balance.

The title Alchemy reflects the essence of her approach: transformation understood as refinement rather than rupture. Rather than dramatizing conflict, these paintings absorb experience and return it in a clarified state. Their effect is meditative. To stand before them is to enter a space of pause—where perception slows, and painting becomes a companion to thought, feeling, and reflection.

At a time when contemporary culture is marked by acceleration and unease, Boutros-Ghali’s work offers a deliberate counterweight. Her paintings propose that beauty, calm, and healing are not naïve ideals, but conscious artistic positions. Exhibited at Pascal Robert Gallery, Zurich, Alchemy finds resonance within a city that values reflection, balance, and precision—qualities mirrored in the work itself.

In Alchemy, Britt Boutros-Ghali affirms her established legacy, reminding us that abstraction continues to matter not for gesture alone, but for its enduring power to move, to restore balance, and to speak quietly yet profoundly to the human spirit.
