Le Stanze della Fotografia in Venice, Italy, in collaboration with the IMWILD Foundation, presents one of the year’s most distinctive photographic exhibitions: The Wild Horses of Sable Island: 30 Years of Work, seen through the lens of artist and photographer Roberto Dutesco.

Curated by Denis Curti in partnership with Dutesco, the exhibition offers an immersive exploration of wilderness—capturing a world that exists unaware of, and unafraid of, human presence. Through a compelling selection of large-scale prints, archival materials, annotated works, and films, visitors are invited into the untamed landscape of Sable Island, where wild horses live in rare and poetic isolation.

The IMWILD Foundation complements and extends Dutesco’s vision, grounded in the belief that art and beauty can inspire meaningful action to protect what remains wild for future generations.
